Churchville Saints Modified Hockey Team
Background Info:
The Churchville Modified hockey team plays in the AAU hockey organization. The goal of this season is to play each team in the league twice and to face-off in an end of season playoff. This would mean we play 12 regular season games with end of year playoffs coming afterwards. Other opportunities to have a skills competition and regional tournament with Buffalo teams are possible as well.
The team is independent from Churchville-Chili High School, but the goal of the team is to prepare players for participation on the varsity team. As an independent club, all funding is provided by families. Each year we tailor the program (practices vs games) in order to accommodate the specific needs and desires of the families/players. We will try to keep the price as low as possible, but that is based largely on the number of players on the team. We do our best to work around schedules of travel teams to make sure there are very few conflicts. Each will be required to get insured through the AAU hockey organization ($28.00)
The grades allowed for players in this organization is 7th & 8th graders. This is a checking league.
The season is after the Varsity season and begins around Mid-March.

It was a great comeback yesterday for the tie. I was proud of the boys for staying in the game.
I apologize for the league only releasing the schedule week to week. I know it makes things difficult to schedule. Hopefully they start to release more of the schedule soon.
